Trofeos.
Project Name: Trofeos
Client: XX
Work conceptual description:
This is not just a trophy — it is a symbol of rupture, resilience, and repair.
On October 29th, 2024, the southern farmland towns of Valencia suffered a devastating flood. Homes, factories, and businesses were submerged. Among them was [Insert company name], who, thanks to the solidarity and support of their community — before, during, and after the disaster — managed to rise again.
This object is their way of saying thank you. A gesture that carries within it the quiet strength of those who showed up.
Made from fragments of plates from the Circular Surprise collection, this piece reflects on the value of what has been broken and thoughtfully repaired. It doesn’t hide the fracture — it acknowledges it, giving form to a story of quiet persistence.
Not a return to how things were, but a new way of being.
Work technical description:
Each trophy is assembled by hand using fragments of ceramic plates from the Circular Surprise collection. The project in which I’m seeking zero waste.
The cracks are highlighted, not hidden — just as our history.
The commitment to responsible production is maintained in the choice of proximity materials (6 km from my workshop) and handcrafted manufacturing, ensuring that each piece has a minimal impact on the environment.
