Circular jewellery.

Project Name: Circular jewellery

Work conceptual description:

Ceramics, for me, is a way of thinking — a medium that allows feelings to take form before they find language.

It is how I approach what unsettles me. At times it becomes a mural, a piece of furniture, a vessel. Functional art that moves through different scales and purposes. And now, it extends to the body: wearable sculpture.

This jewellery collection emerges from that same place.

It is how I approach what unsettles me. At times it becomes a mural, a piece of furniture, a vessel. Functional art that moves through different scales and purposes. And now, it extends to the body: wearable sculpture.

These forms speak of movement, continuity and quiet growth.

They suggest transitions rather than conclusions; relationships that stretch, shift and remain.

When worn, some of the larger pieces take on the presence of a talisman. Resting on the chest, they invite touch — a small, tactile point of grounding, a quiet reminder of the body’s centre.

They do not function as jewellery alone, but as objects of companionship, carrying an intimate sculptural weight.

 Work technical description:

Each piece in this jewellery collection is handcrafted in porcelain, shaped individually at a small scale and refined through a slow, meticulous process.

The forms are modelled by hand, allowing subtle variations that preserve the trace of the making. Porcelain is chosen for its delicacy, luminosity and strength — qualities that resonate with the intimate nature of wearable objects.

After drying, the pieces are carefully refined and fired at high temperature to ensure structural resistance while maintaining lightness. The surfaces are finished with a transparent glaze with subtle green and blue tonal variations, enhancing the material’s natural whiteness and tactile softness.

The porcelain elements are combined with sterling silver chains. In some designs, small walnut wood rods are incorporated, introducing a warm, organic contrast to the ceramic surface.

Each piece is fired to achieve durability while retaining a fine, almost skin-like presence.

Every jewellery piece is unique, conceived not only as adornment but as a small sculptural object, intended to be worn close to the body.
