Mediterranean Bits Recycled Glass Glaze
Project Name: Mediterranean Bits Recycled Glass Glaze
Client: Heineken Group
Work conceptual description:
A material connection to territory.
To mark 50 years of Heineken España in Valencia, we created a commemorative piece using recycled glass from the company’s own bottles. Green and amber fragments, sourced from Heineken group brands, were transformed into a custom ceramic glaze. The result is a meaningful object that reflects both the company’s legacy and its link to the region.
Ceramic tradition meets industrial footprint.
The glaze, developed specifically for this piece, uses bottle glass as its base, integrating Heineken’s materials into the surface of each object. The colours recall the Mediterranean landscape and the brand’s identity, creating a visual and physical synthesis of place and purpose.
This piece is a tribute to the company’s presence in Valencia, to its production roots, and to the potential of circular design as a tool for storytelling.
